Our mission is to curate beautifully handcrafted products from across the globe. We preserve the traditional art of India handed down to us by our ancestors, helping our talented artisans gain global recognition through the products that can be used on a daily basis in the urban market. Our vision is to be an International Brand synonym to craft and attire. We are well on our way with a solemn goal to provide economic upliftment of the rural artisans that are involved in preserving the heritage of the handicrafts industry in India.

We aim for building a safe space and support groups online, where women can support each other in improving and sharing their skills, knowledge and businesses with help of their fellows.

To help individuals and communities break the cycle of poverty that prevents them from reaching their full potential.

Plant seeds of change in both urban and rural areas—not only in the minds of the women there, but also in the minds of the men and parents who do not allow these women to flourish as people.

Give these women the tools and resources to do that, to understand that they should and will have the opportunities that they lack. That they can escape the cycle of violence and injustice that surrounds them and find a better life through the development of their own skills and talents.

Young women are not encouraged to attend school and instead often become victims of human trafficking and prostitution because of their limited options.

To think of living with almost no control and freedom over one’s own life are quite suffocating state of affairs. Women in India have to endure many ordeals in their day-to-day lives. For centuries women of all generations have had to struggle to be treated as equals. At present, thousands of women in India are marginalized and poorly treated within society resulting in a lack of the skills and confidence needed to live fulfilled and active lives. Currently, a staggering 245 million women across India are unable to read or write, this severely limits their position and opportunities available to them within society.

That is why SWAABHAAS – NGO for women empowerment and social welfare, stepped in to create an impact by changing the lives of women and men from these backgrounds, by creating the set goals and training session to make them self sustainable in life.
